AutoTap® OBDII Streamer V1.0 Revolutionizes Fleet Management

Ottawa, IL - September 15, 2006 - B&B Electronics today announced that the AutoTap OBDII Streamer is now available for all OBDII vehicles. "The OBDII Streamer allows telematics and fleet management applications to easily integrate OBDII data with minimal knowledge of the vehicle or the many different OBDII protocols," said Don Wiencek, President of B&B Electronics. The AutoTap Streamer enables fleet management companies and application service providers to cost effectively build driver behavior, remote diagnostics, and preventative maintenance applications into their offerings. By using a simple interface, companies have the flexibility to program the AutoTap OBDII Streamer to retrieve values for up to 20 parameters and specify if the parameters are communicated in real-time, on a timed basis, when a threshold is exceeded, or as requested.
