6/12/2000	CART and B&B Electronics Join to Make Timing/Scoring Data Available in Pits - A new pit lane CCTV/data connection allows teams to tap directly into the official CART Timing and Scoring and closed circuit TV. 11/10/1999	A mailing list for AutoTap scan tool users. This is a one way mailing list which allows B&B Electronics to keep users aware of new products, software releases, and allow beta testing of new software. Anyone interested in becoming an AutoTap Insider should enroll on the AutoTap web site.
11/2/1999	AutoTap for Windows is announced today at the SEMA show located at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is estimated that AutoTap for Windows will be available Summer 2000. Again this will be a free upgrade for current AutoTap scan tool customers.
10/29/1999	The AutoTap scanner now supports the Powerstroke Diesel.
9/13/1999	A combination AutoTap OBD II Diagnostic Scanner which reads computer signals from both Ford and GM vehicles will also be available soon. Model AT12 works on all 1996 and later GM and Ford Corporation cars, SUVs and light trucks. It provides all the features of both AT1 and AT2 scanners and makes it possible for drivers or small shops to have a single unit that will service the bulk of the late model cars out there. Cost is $389.95. Now shipping.
8/27/1999	ATView, an AutoTap log file viewer was released today. This is a Windows based viewer that makes it easy to play back log files and create a graph of logged data. This is available free to all AutoTap users and can be downloaded from the AutoTap web site.
7/8/1999	Now owners of Ford cars and light trucks can get the same inside information from their vehicle's computer that GM owners have had. AutoTap Model AT2 is designed for all Ford, Lincoln and Mercury cars, SUVs and light trucks from 1996-on. Model AT2 has the same features as AT1, including the ability to read all the factory diagnostic information present in your vehicle's computers. Like the AT1, it works with your 286 or better computer. Cost is $249.95 directly from B&B Electronics or from performance dealers.
7/1/1999	The AutoTap diagnostic scan tool is featured in GM Hightech Performance in an article titled "Tap Dancin". GM Hightech Performance is published by McMullen Argus Publishing.
1/1/1999	B&B Electronics adds a dealer network. This enables the AutoTap scanner to get to the end user much easier and possibly cheaper.
10/26/1998	B&B Electronics releases Version 2.00 adding enhanced parameter support. It was announced that this, as well as all future software upgrades, will be free for any existing AutoTap scan tool owners.
10/8/1998	The AutoTap diagnostic scan tool is listed as one of the new tech toys in Engineering Design News Magazine.
