Integrate J1708 data into your application with B&B's Heavy-Duty Streamer. Designed for OEM, fleet management, and vehicle telematics applications, the streamer monitors the J1708 data bus and only transmits the PIDs that the connected device specifies. Users can program the streamer to retrieve trouble codes and PID data for up to 20 parameters.
The Heavy-Duty Streamers are preprogrammed to filter the most common parameters, but allow the user to configure the device to retrieve any parameters published in the J1587/J1708 specification. PIDS can be transmitted to the connected device immediately, or only when the connected device requests the information.
Field upgradeable and built to withstand harsh environmental conditions, the streamer operates from -40 - + 85c, and has been tested to strict shock and vibration standards. For out-of-sight installations that don't block the diagnostic port, B&B provides both 6-pin and 9-pin Deutsch Y-cables assemblies.
