AutoTap Video Clips

As Seen On TV...

AutoTap was used on the DIY Network's Weekend Mechanic to diagnose a failed throttle position sensor and a coolant temperature sensor. AutoTap read and identified the Diagnostic Trouble Code. AutoTap's graphing capabilities were put to work to confirm that the sensor had truly failed. Finally, AutoTap cleared the code and check engine light when the repair was complete. A detailed summary of the program can be found on the DIY Network's web site at http://www.diynet.com/diy/shows_wkm/episode/0,2046,DIY_14348_26875,00.html

The Screen Savers on the Tech TV network featured AutoTap for Windows as they explored the technical aspects and capabilities of OBD II diagnostics. Leo and Patrick used AutoTap to demonstrate how to read the thoughts of the car's computer. You can see this episode right on your PC (This is a Windows Media Viewer file) . Beware, if you don't have a broadband internet connection you'll need a lot of patience for this to download - but it zips right along on a high-speed connection.

Let's Talk Computers®, one of the longest running radio computer talk shows, recently featured the AutoTap diagnostic scantool as s well. Hosts Alan and Sandra discuss how AutoTap fits in topics ranging from DIY repair to emissions testing to racing in this fifteen minute interview with AutoTap's Mike Fahrion. You can visit Let's Talk Computers and hear the show at http://www.lets-talk-computers.com/guests/bb/autotap/index.htm.
